She lies sick in the Western
While her parishioners gather in prayer
Brave follower of Christ Jesus,
Laurene's faith in Almighty God will heal her maladies
And give her renewed strength to help the poor
The Holy Spirit will revive her,
As she reaches out to the world
As she stands for human goodness with banner unfurled
