My adaptation of the traditional Irish blessing 'May the Road Rise up to Meet You'. is dedication to the forty million or so human beings who died needlessly during the First World War, for whatever reason. and to the lost children of Palestine.
TO THE ORCHARDS IN THE HEAVENS

MAY THE ROAD RISE UP TO MEET YOU
MAY THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK
MAY THE SUN SHINE WARM UPON YOUR FACE
THE RAINS FALL SOFT UPON YOUR FIELDS
AND UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MAY GOD
HOLD YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND
AND RAISE YOU FROM THE COASTS YOU LOVE
TO THE ORCHARDS IN THE HEAVENS
