THE FIRST ISBA NEWSLETTER, November 1992, with my article Bayesian Statistics, An Overview

FIRST ISBA NEWSLETTER  (edited by myself)

Note that Jose Bernardo, as co-president, acknowledges that it was
largely due to the efforts of my friend Arnold  Zellner and I that ISBA
became a reality in 1992. Indeed I devised the name of the Society,
faced up to some tricky politics with Adrian Smith and Tony O'Hagan,
and wrote the preliminary constitution, Then Gordon Kaufmann
registered the organisation with the State of Illinois on behalf of
the three of us. Little did I realize how influential the Society would
become. I was elected as one of the first, a founding fellows, of ISBA
                        in late 2012.
