  1. Who does rule the world? It's not a set of people. The WTO, World Bank, EU, IMF and multinations do have power of course and the capitalist class do get together to organise. But they are inclined to act in certain ways due to the nature and logic of those systems of oppression such as capitalism.

"capital isn’t reducible to any one individual boss, manager, or cop."-Ibid.

Individuals in a system of oppression may change but the problem is the system not the people who 'front' or are the public face of a system. You cannot destroy capitalism by destroying individual capitalists. "You can't blow up a social relation".

Individual oppressors are not determined or mechanically acting yet they are not free to act however they please either. There is systematic and institutional pressures, incentives and disincentives.

Individuals can shape and re-form the structure but they cannot form it however they like and the individuals have to act in certain ways to maintain and expand the structures.

Individuals are shaped or conditions by structures and in turn structures are shaped and arranged by people and these two interact in vice versa directions simultaneously yet the persons to remain within the structure must act in line with the logic of that structure. And structures are able of harnessing, re-directing and co-opting dissent and rebellion and absorbing it back into themselves. Which is why reformism as a political strategy does not work and system of oppression must be abolished.

Most conspiracy theories are anti-semitic or have anti-semitic orgins including the Rothschilds one since the Rothschilds are jewish.

  2. Against Conspiracy Theories, For Revolution.

I am opposed to conspiracy theory because it acts to mystify and mask the existing systems of oppression especially capitalism. It is a form of ' false consciousness in Marxist terminology in that it serves to perpetuate the idea that (1) there is only a few bad apples in the system, that the system itself is not bad (2) that its better to oppose a shadowy group of people rather than a system.

Conspiracy theory benefits systems of oppression so is counter-revolutionary. It channels dissent into absurd dead ends. It sometimes relies on the liberal idea that we should be open to absolutely all ideas i.e. that there are NO or few settled facts and operates in a very relativist manner.

With a poor understanding of the problems of the world, conspiracy theories provide failed theory to enable you to work out solutions to the problems of the world. If you don't understand the problems, you can't begin to think about what the solutions might be.

Conspiracy theory lacks a political strategy for improving and changing the world.

"In reality, there is plenty of evidence of what the capitalist class does on a daily basis. Most capitalist plans for economic and foreign policy are printed openly in the pages of the Economist and the Wall Street Journal. We can see them disagreeing publicly, and we can see that sometimes their plans don’t work out. Sure, there are some secrets, but as Wikileaks and Ed Snowden show, even these can be exposed by courageous people willing to take action. And most of their secrets are actually “open secrets”: information is available in public libraries and websites, but people are so overwhelmed by the volume of information available that we don’t have time or energy to sort out what’s important...Illuminati theory is inherently elitist, conservative, inaccurate and illogical. Ultimately, it is unable to explain oppression and exploitation, or help us figure out how to stop it. To truly stop oppression and exploitation, we need an accurate analysis of where they come from... But capital itself is bigger than any individual cop, manager or boss. A corporation can change its CEO or board of directors, or reshuffle its entire workforce, and the capital flowing through it can continue to grow. Individual corporations can merge with each other, or go out of business, and capital on a national scale will continue growing. It’s like the Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy says: rulers are like bullets in a clip. As soon as you shoot one, another pops up to take its place.Capital is not just the capitalists who run the corporations. It is the whole system, the “game” with its own rules that everyone has to follow...Similarly, you can’t put your finger on capital in any one place, but it is present in the relations between people, and asserts a powerful force on them."
    - How to overthrow the Illuminati pamphlet, a pamphlet critical of conspiracy theories.

George H. Bush was an evil man but to claim he favoured population control is nonsense. He was (I think) pressured into allowing abortion to be easier to get. Conflating allowing abortion and population control is an old right wing ploy.
