TEN PAST PRESIDENTS OF THE ROYAL STATISTICAL SOCIETY WERE EUGENICISTS

                                                               Ronald Aylmer Fisher

                                                                 Arch-Eugenicist

                                                   The objectivity of his Statistics

                                                    is therefore, like Karl Pearson's,

currently being put to the question

                                                    around the world. For example,

                                                     his p-values are quite misleading

when trying to judge practical or

                                                    clinical significance, or when

                                                    trying to distinguish between two

                                                    populations.

                                                               NOW WIDELY DEBUNKED

The Royal Statistical Society makes all sorts of wonderful contributions

for the betterment of the world, and all their presidents of the 21st.

century have been superb in office,

It is therefore very sad that ten of the Society's past presidents were

reportedly active eugenicists for at least part of their lives, Sir Ronald Fisher

was easily the most mendacious, since neither Francis Galton nor Karl Pearson

became president. But Fisher escaped censure by the 2019 UCL Eugenics

Inquiry, even though he held the second chair of eugenics at UCL.
