MAN-GOD by TOM LEONARD
by Tom Leonard
I, Hathor, pubescent on Planet Freya,
Have the ears of a cow,
The breasts of the Goddess Hera,
And a rosebud
Shrouded in a bush of silver hairs..
My sisters in the Belt of Orion envy my nubile form,
While the man I am strives to express himself from
And now my head evolves into that of a hawk,
My breasts toughen their sinews,
And my manhood ascends in full glory.
I am the man-god, the living Horus,
I am part of the Creator himself,
I, my sister Akhenaten and her husband Nefertiti
Will rise and defeat the bigots of Amon
Who seek to oppress the vulnerable and the indigenous..
Many a pyramid will topple, and colonialists fester,
As the eugenicists vanish from the face of the Earth
